GRADUATE PROGRAMME

Is your dream to get a graduate job in the country where you have been studying?

Your First Graduate Programme is designed to help you separate that from what your parents or teachers might have pushed you to do and work out what the best choice is for you! You’ll be guided through how to research, prepare, plan, interview for and onboard into the career of your choice.

With reflective exercises and activities, you’ll walk away more confident in your abilities. You will go from being a nervous beginner with little idea of where to start, to a confident jobseeker, obtaining the interviews and offers from the companies that are the best fit for you.

Who is this course for?

This course is best used for those in their first year of undergraduate studies. The longer you give yourself to practice the necessary stages, and even to get part-time or summer holiday jobs, the greater your chances will be of landing that dream job when you finally graduate. You can also do it as a “crash” course in your final year, if you have not found a way to start learning before then. You will have more juggling to do, but it can be done!

If you are already a couple of years into your career and have successfully made applications and begun programs away from home, then this course is probably not for you, as it is a little too basic. But there is another course that you might find useful, also by Claire and her co-author Antoine Tirard – How to be a Career Acrobat.

How long do I have to complete this course?

The course will remain available to you for life, though we recommend that you work on it from A-Z within a year, initially.

You may want to join the YFGP community or book up some group or individual coaching to support your development journey.
